Trading data from Tasmanian Irrigation (2022) was statistically analysed using monthly permanent and short-term transfer data from September 2014 to October 2022. Data included the number of trades, number of disclosed prices, total volume (ML), average volume (ML), and median consideration value ($/ML). Monthly rainfall data was obtained from the Bureau of Meteorology (2023a) Ross (Rose Villa) Bureau station from September 2014 to October 2022. Short-term trading data was sourced from State of Victoria (2023a) and permanent trading data was sourced from State of Victoria (2023b). The median value ($/ML) of permanent and short-term transfers was determined by filtering out $0/ML trades like the analysis of State of Victoria (2023a; 2023b) using the Microsoft Excel MEDIAN function. Monthly rainfall data was obtained from the East Sale Bureau of Meteorology station (Bureau of Meteorology 2023b) and added to the water share and allocation data sets.
